ClauseHawk provides AI-powered contract analysis that generates plain-English summaries and risk assessments from uploaded or pasted contract text. The service is informational only and is designed to help users understand contract language more easily.

By using ClauseHawk, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Not Legal Advice

ClauseHawk is NOT a law firm and does NOT provide legal advice. Its analysis is NOT a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney.

The AI-generated analysis provided by ClauseHawk is for informational purposes only. It may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You should not rely solely on ClauseHawk analysis when making legal or business decisions. For contracts with significant financial, legal, or personal consequences, consult a qualified attorney.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ClauseHawk to:

• Upload or submit illegal content or content you do not have the right to share
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the AI model or underlying prompts
• Resell access to ClauseHawk or commercially distribute analysis results without authorization
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to abuse the service or circumvent rate limits
• Submit content intended to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal outputs
• Impersonate another person or entity in submissions

ClauseHawk reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

4. Payment Terms

ClauseHawk offers the following paid tiers:

• Single Analysis + PDF Export: $7.99 one-time payment. Provides one full analysis with a downloadable PDF report.
• Monthly Pro (unlimited analyses): $19.99/month subscription. Provides unlimited analyses and PDF exports during the subscription period. Cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the billing period.
• Annual Pro (unlimited analyses): $149.99/year subscription. Same benefits as Monthly Pro at a discounted annual rate. Cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the billing period.

All payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase — contact us at support@tohubohu.app with your request.

5. Free Tier

ClauseHawk provides a free tier that allows 1 analysis per day per IP address. Free tier usage limits are subject to change. ClauseHawk reserves the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue the free tier at any time with or without notice.

Free tier analyses include the full analysis result but do not include PDF export functionality (available on paid tiers).

6. Intellectual Property

ClauseHawk and its operators own all rights to the service, including the website design, branding, software code, and AI prompts. These materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain full ownership of the contract content you upload or paste into ClauseHawk. We do not claim any rights to your content.

Analysis outputs generated by ClauseHawk are licensed to you for personal and internal business use. You may not resell or commercially distribute analysis outputs without prior written authorization.

7. Privacy

Our data handling practices — including our zero-persistence model for contract content — are described in our Privacy Policy. By using ClauseHawk, you acknowledge and agree to those practices.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ClauseHawk and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the service.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the total fees paid by you to ClauseHawk in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ClauseHawk and its operators, affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the service, your violation of these Terms of Service, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Changes to Terms

ClauseHawk reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of ClauseHawk after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide prominent notice on this page.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ClauseHawk shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Bengaluru, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
